System suddenly dropped to 8086 type perforus?rmance?

CPU & 512Memory diag. OK what else? Virus?

Have you just upgraded to this hardware, or have you been running it for a while, and suddenly everything slowed down?
Also what OS?

It was bought without OS from net and win2000 was installed.
