Massive headache w/ Promise Fasttrak100 TX4 RAID

If anyone is familiar with the promise ide raid cards, i would really appreciate some help... I am trying to setup 2 WD 100GB hard drives on a promise fasttrak 100 tx4 with windows 2000. The drives are not yet formatted or partitioned. I installed the raid drivers (they show up in device manager) and also setup an array and flashed the bios. But still, on bootup, i get the array not found or invalid type message! Any ideas...
