Massage light

We are having a problem with massage light going out. we tested the port and ran realtime report to see the light go on and then go off, but the light on the phone stays on can only be removed by us manually Does any one know of any other reports and/or test we can look at?

It's in Octel 350 and PBX Avaya g3rv10

You can use the CDR Utilities to track MWI attempts in the 350. In the PBX you can use the Remote Message Retrieval feature to see what extension is lighting the light. Maybe one voicemail port is turning on the light and another voicemail port is trying to turn it off ( assuming you are using PIC-A's)

yes you need to check the LWC act and deact code in the pbx and make sure that it is set in the Octel in menu 6-2 for mess light on and off
