So one department has mass emailings every so often, sometimes with attachments.
For some reason, Outlook 2k3 thinks they are sending spam so it prompts for Yes or No to send to each recipient.
Approx 400 or so in each mailing.
How do I stop O2K3 from this prompt?

Server 22003, Outlok 2003

You need to create a Distribution List (DL). Each Distribution List Can Be Grouped to Different People or All People. When the distribution list is in place, and you want to write mass mail, click new, click TO: (button) then select global addresses then select the distribution list or click new and in the TO text field type DL - (name of distribution list. works same way.

hmmm...I didnt even ask if they were using a dist list.
Ill need to find out and keep you posted.

aha, more info passed along to me.
It seems when they are running reports, these are then mass emailed to addresses pull email addresses from a sql database.
So we know its not a true outlook dist. list.
Is there anyway to force Outlook to send these emails without a yes prompt for each?

bah nvm.
Its inherent in 2K3 and that security cant be turned off...ARRGGHH
Click Yes is only option, but that it shouldnt be the only option.
oh well, maybe mr gates will enjoy his retirement anyways...

j/k..

There are several discussions floating around about this issue. Here are a couple:
Disabling message before sending email thread605-856247
Outlook 2002, program trying to send e-mail on your behalf thread605-883892

I vaguely remember seeing another thread (possibly in the VBA forum?) that discussed some way to certify the application calling outlook (or it's address book), so that warning doesn't pop up.
