i´m making a space game, with the stage split horizontally in the middle. two huge background sprites (obviously of the same background image) are cut to size using mask ink. the view moves accordingly when the players accelerate. this is done by animating their regpoints.
problem is the following situation:
while the players are closing in on each other, it is necessary to show only half of the opposing player´s sprite, the other half being obscured by his screen.
mask ink wont do, cause i need a horizontal cut, but the mask member would rotate with the sprite. (sigh)
