masking the actual servername when pages are served up

what i am trying to accomplish:
when a request is made to
-

http://mainpage.mysite.com.

-select a link from

http://mainpage.mysite.com

which provides content from

http://app1.mysite.com/applications/myapplication

Is there a way to display

http://app1.mysite.com/applications/myapplication

as

http://mainpage.mysite.com

-Whenever any link is selected on mainpage.mysite.com, redirect to the requested location, but always display

http://mainpage.mysite.com

in the browser address field.

all i can say - you can accomplish it thru frames.. (there will be always frameset's address in the bar) Victor
