Greeting!

I am loading data files that we are receiving from an external client into a SQL Server 2005 database and have been asked to mask confidential fields such as Social Security Numbers, Account Numbers, etc. (i.e. display '****' in the tables). I'm certain this can be done but I'm having trouble finding information on how to do it. Can anyone help get me going in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

Nate
