Hello,

I have a complex image that I would like to mask with an animated mask.

I am using a movie clip with a couple of layers that "reveal" parts of the complex image at a time.
The problem is, when part of a mask overlaps another, it leaves that part of the complex image covered.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks in advance.

Do the layers in this mask MC contain other MCs that act as masks?..If not, this should work..give it a try.

Please experts. I thought this would have a quick solution. I have been desperate for an answer to this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Perhaps you can post your file - I've never encountered the problem you describe when doing similar things with masks so what you're after is definitely possible.

Unexpected file format?

You would have a better chance of someone looking at this if your .fla was also saved as a MX only format. Use Save As to save a copy of your .fla in a MX only format document type.
