We have a Quad BRI card setup as an S Bus. All is working fine as we can dial out over all four ports and calls are routed through the PRI link, however this then appends the main CLID to the calls.

Can we change all outbound calls through the BRI to be a different number. Through the PROTOCOL ASSGINMENT form I've check the box Replace External CLID and typed in the desired number in the Default Voice CPN, in the CPN Subsitution form. But it always goes out as the prime number.

Can anyone help, I've tried everything I can think off and have gone through the help.

Sorry, I just wanted to bump this up in case anyone new on the forums had a way for doing this. I refuse to believe that I can't change the out bound number on a BRI card setup as an S bus, while I can do it with ease on an Analog extension!

unsure if im on the right lines but to send a specific outgoing cli you use CPN substition:-

Modify CLI Substitution Default Number
CLI Substitution allows the System/BRI extension number to be appended to the outgoing CLI. A default CLI can be configured for extension numbers outside a given range.

Note: Static CPN overrides CLI Substitution.

To modify the CLI Substitution Default Number:

On the Modify CLI Substitution menu, enter the Modify CLI Substitution Default Number menu item number.

At the Modify CLI Substitution Default Parameter prompt, enter a default CLI, if required (for example, 01291430000, where 01291is the local area code).

start with searching for cli substitution on the 3300 help and let me know if you need further assistance

cheers

James, I think you've given me the right idea. Because I'm not using CPN for the default number then it gets used everywhere. I reverse my thinking then I'd only append the default number to the correct range and then change the CPN for the BRI.

yes, never tried it but i think you may be right.
Let me know, worth bearing in mind for future because we have a few customers with similar setup

thanks
