This problem only happens on some computers. I cannot find a pattern as to which browser or OS it's happening. It doesn't happen on my Mac in FF or Safari, my Vista PC, or Mac Parallels windows. But it happens on my wife's Mac in Firefox and on her office Windows PC.

It's obvious when it's happening. Normally, the oval is in full view from the beginning. When it's not working, the oval is hidden as the letters are written.
