I have seen the solution a few times thoughout the Forum but it doesn't seem to work. I have successfully created a connection through MS Access through a SYSTEM DSN I created. Where ever it asks for the password or even SAVE password I have complied. However, when I run the access MAKETABLE query that gets the info from the MAS90 database it ALWAYS asks for the company name, user name, and password. Even after I have put all the information (i.e. company, username, password) in the DSN and when selecting the table to import or link.

My Providex driver is 3.00, I know there is an update but WHERE can I find it? Do you think that is the problem?

If you have not solved this issue, and if your trying to use a two diget Company Code, or User Code.. fill the Company code with a space.

The company code is 3 digits.. AAB for example.
I managed to download tables into access on a timer every 7 minutes. It seems that after 7 minutes the connection breaks and it asks me for login information. It's kinda frustrating since it is 90% automated.

It sounds like you want to make a silent connection to the database in MAS90. I found the steps in the MAS90 instructions to be helpful for this.

I had wanted to automate a Crystal Report to run at night and email. This can no longer be done out of the box with Crystal Reports (scheduled reports), so I hooked up Crystal Enterprise, which does schedule reports, but in MAS90 database in Crystal Enterprise you still need a silent connection to run automated.

I believe the latest Crystal Reports Module Instruction Manual for MAS90 gives the step-by-step Page 104... I don't have the CD handy, but here is a URL that has it stored in PDF.

This solution has worked fine for me, and I actually use it for a automatic export in MAS90, for emailing automatic from a report.
