MAS90 lookup, data missing

After one of our server hardrives became disconnected and reconnected.
When I do a general lookup in any module I am missing 6 months of data.
Yet, when I key in a recent, specific sale order # or po # the data comes up.
I've tried the rebuild key/ sort files and the relink option to no avail.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a custom setting in your ALE?

You will have to excuse my ignorance BigLouie.
I'm just a user of this software, with little knowledge of the technical side of it.
What is my ALE?

The lookup feature is called the ALE. You can setup custom settings to filter the data shown. Someone might have setup a filter to only show certain amounts of data which is why you can key it in and it pops up but does not show in the lookup.
