Hello,
I am new with MAS200 software, I recently try to install a MAS200 client on a WindowsXP Pro. machine, the installation went smoothly, but when run the program I get this message:

All workstation ID's have been assigned.
Please remove unwanted workstations from FID0MAP,INI.
Warning:Removing a workstation that is still in use will
result in lost user preferences for that workstation.

Any idea of fixing this problem?

Thanks

Sounds to me like you have hit your seat license limit. I am sure BigLouie will be along to confirm this.

"What version of URGENT!!! are you using?

Just how many work stations have you installed? I suspect you may have two work stations with the same ID. You can install an unlimited number of work stations, your license is how many can log in at once.

Thanks for the reply, how does MAS detect or assign workstation ID? when setting up the client there is no place to put the ID. only server IP and port #

Thanks again!

The workstation ID comes from the computer name. If you go to Control Panel, System, Computer Name, this is the name MAS uses. If you have two computers with the same name it will cause problems.

I pulled the fid0map.ini into excel and found there were 300 enteries, I think its the limit that was set in MAS somewhere, I delete an entry and start up a client then it works.

Thank you all!
