How do I get the Mitel Collaboration Advanced password to sync with the Collaboration Advanced in UCA. I have a MAS server 5.0.208.0 running Mitel Collaboration Advanced 5.0.2.17 and UCA 6.0.220.0. If a user accesses the web portal for Collaboration Advanced with the login and password provided in the welcome email and changes the password as required, the new password is not synced to UCA. Therefore when the user accesses Collaboration Advanced via UCA the password is not valid. I have to enter the password in the UCA account for the user.

Is your UCa in Integrated mode ?
if not it needs to be.
Once that is done the USers and services login details are used for all apps

For MAS based AD sync you can also set it to do LDAP authentication so that they can use their Domain creds for everything

Without LDAP authentication new users should do the following ( in this order)

loginto the MCA user portal ( prompts for password change)
Then login to UCA and change password to be the same

Loginto Nupoint and set the Mailbox up

Then associate these details within UCA and add the new Nupoint Pin

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
