MAS w/MSS cannot join private domain?

I've got the boxes loaded and configured perfectly,yet when I try and save the "Windows Domain" parameters on the MSS I get a password error.
Yet I can logon to the MAS using said logon and password?
Any ideas?

what user are you using? it must be the domain admin and not the cust or craft login.

I screwed up the DCT.I forgot to check the "change from default" or whatever it is in Domain setup.
I thought I had set up vmdom,but I was really on exeton98.
Too bad I only do a few of these a year.You forget things after a while.
