Is the MAS Time Service on SCCS server what controls the synchornization of the time between the PBX and SCCS server?

My RTD's on the client are resetting to 00:00:00 during the day. I've found that w32time service is started on the server and my SCCS server has synced time from a networked server (apparently bad).

So, I was going to stop the w32time service on the SCCS server and set it to manual. However, I wanted to verify what service the SCCS server uses to pull time from the ELAN. The NTP's state that the server pulls time from the ELAN but doesn't say what service is used. FYI, the following is the error I see in the event log after the RTD resets:

Time change detected. - Time has been changed by 3614 seconds. Note: Data Collectors (HDC_Service and RDC_Service) will be restarted.; SwitchCallId:0-0 [.\NIEB_clTimer.cpp:242]....thanks for any input

First -- yes, stop and disable Windows Time Service. And yes, MAS Time Service is what will be used.

Next -- check your interval times (under Historical stats)and whether your RTD's are set for Moving Window or Interval to Date. If Moving Window, it shows you a rolling 10 minute time. If Interval to Date, it will reset to 0's at the end of the interval. For example, if your interval was 1 hour and the "start time for one interval" is 8:00am, then at 9:00 it will reset, then again at 10:00, etc.

Thanks, I disabled the Windows Time Service. Also, my interval is set for 1 hours and the "start time for one interval" is 7:30 A.M.....so, at 8:30, 9:30, etc. all my displays that are checked for "interval to date" should reset???

So, if I want to track the data for the enitre day (10 hour work day) then I need to set my interval time to 10 hrs...thanks for your posting.

Also, do you have a document or NTP that explains all of the SCCS services? The SCCS installation and configuration gives a brief description but I was looking for more info.

Set your interval to 12 hours. Thing is, you have to choose an interval that can be divided evenly into a 24-hour period.
