MAS not closing its PVXWIN32.exe Connection

I only have about 4 MAS users but they will get an error message that the server is not accepting anymore conenctions. When I look in Task Manager I have about 100 open PVXWIN32 connections. I have been seeing some issues with my switches and im trying to get new ones, could this be a hardware problem or is this is a common MAS issue? MAS has been running for years fine and this just started about a month ago. I dont think any maintenance has been done at all on the MAS Databases.
