MAS 5.0.218.0

I've taken a couple approaches to this task but what's relevant is that my first attempt was to completely delete the existing (provisioned for testing) UCA DB and execute the integration wizard. The end result was that the users listed in UCA had First+Last Name and Login ID. No mention of PBX Node or password. The same user when viewed from USP does not show the UCA tab.

Like wise, when I create a User Template in USP, the UCA section is grayed out. The UCC V2.0 Standard template has an error at the top saying 'UCA either not installed, licensed, in co-lo mode... etc'

Can anyone comment on what I may be doing wrong to bring the two DB's into sync?

Can you advise what exactly you are trying to do ?
in particular
is this a new server with no data on it and you want to integrate the UCA ?
OR
is this a working server with Users and you want to add UCA and integrate it ?

if its new , this is how i normally program a MAS to be integrated

add arid and sync ARID to obtain licenses .
configure MSL basic Settings NTP , Domain , local networks Languages etc.
configure Network element in USP Blade.

configure MCA basic settings.
Configure Nupoint line groups fcos etc and activate.
configure MBG basic settings and cluster if required.

Configure UCA enterprise , collaboration , ICP and feature license groups

Then run integration wizard

this will do a pabx sync and read all pabx users into the USP database
Once integrated
configure roles and templates in USP blade - should now be able to configure MCA nupoint and uca settings

use AD sync or bulk import to add users which will add them to MCD as required ( if using single point)

I then turn off Single point and remove any entries from USP that are not required , turn back on single point

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

The MAS and MCD are already configured and in production. UCA is not configured. I will attempt your steps and report back.

Thanks for the insight,

Make sure that the UCA is active on the arid

we recently tried adding uca to an older MAS arid that for some reason didn't have the UCA enabled

from mas console run db licensekeys show

This is the UCA section from the one we had problems with .

It should have indicated enabled

We had to get Mitel to fix the arid
