Hello,
We are a medium-sized company (about 25 users) currently running off a single OES (NetWare 6.5) server. Since NetWare is on its way out, and we have been having some issues with this server, I would really like to shift to a better (and more future-proof) platform.
The major limiting factor MAS 90. I looked at the "compatability matrix" they had on the website, which was last updated a year ago, and it says that it supports NetWare 6.5 and Open Enterprise Server Service Pack 1. This is a little vague, since OES comes with either the Netware 6.5 or the SUSE Linux kernel. And it makes no mention of OES2.
Does anyone know whether the Linux version of OES is compatible with MAS 90? If so, are there any configuration issues I should be aware of? If possible, I'd like to stay away from getting a Windows server just for the sake of MAS90.
Thanks!
