Mas 200 / crystal reports

Please help. Our company is running Mas200 and Crystal reports 8.5.0.218
We were using Mas90 amd was able to run crystal reports. Our system adminstator is no loger with the company and I would like to create a couple of reports. My question is when I use to open Mas90 crstal reports it pulled information from a databse. Now when I open Crystal 8.5 I am not sure where to pull reports from. We have several reports that we want to create.
Exaples: Open orders reports by entered by
Any help in pionting me in the right direction would be great.

If you need to pull up reports that are already existing, you just need to navigate to your Reports folder (wherever your MAS200 data is stored) and double click on a report to open it in crystal...you can also click on the Form button in the print window within MAS90 - this will open up the report in Design view within Crystal.

If you need to create a whole new report - you should get familiar with the MAS200 File Structure by referring to the TRSG (Technical Resource and Support Guide) which should have come with your MAS200 installation CD's or you can access via Sage's website.

Within Crystal go to File -> New and use the Report Expert...from there you will be able to select the database to use (you want to use the MAS_REPORTS ODBC connection. From there you can select the tables you want to work with.

Unable to update sales transaction while sales order is being printed. - but no one is printing any reports!

i looked up a similar issue with the GL...are you in version 4.0 or greater? If so, try running workstation setup again.

Ernie, try rebooting the server. Also look in the master console. Sounds likea stuck process.
