Is it possible to toggle the marquee tool to draw multiple boxes without pressing the space bar? Truth is, my PS6 is doing just that and while being a very useful tool, I would like to know how to toggle between this state and normal.

Hi,

When you press and hold the space bar you can move the marquee while you are adjusting it. After you release the mouse and have created your marquee then press and hold Ctrl and then draw another marquee (you can also press and hold space too to move that second one to the exact spot). To subtract from your marquee you press and hold Alt and then drag through an existing marquee.

There are also 4 buttons on the options palette that allow you to have this option stay on permantly until you choose otherwise. If your options palette isn't open goto Window > Options (or Show Options).

Hope this helps!
