Hi everyone,
I've been trying to add a "recent News" section using the marquee tag in my HTML site, but I don't know how to place it at the side of the page without dragging lower all the content.
In adition, on Firefox the marquee text is shown "fully" on load and then start to move correctly

I'd appreciate your help,
Thanks

It looks like you placed it alongside the header, but then commented it out.

If you are going to use tables to lay out your site, that's how I'd do it. Why doesn't that work for you?

As I recall the <marquee> tag has been deprecated for several years. There are several JS options avaiable if you really want to scroll your content in a standards-compliant mode.

It is also worth ensuring that your page validates (see ) before considering any cross-browser differences. Your page currently has 3 DOCTYPE declarations - it almost looks as if you have 3 pages all stuck together.
