! mark light is on, on m server ????

Hi People

I have a Gateway 7450R server, the issue is that the ! mark light is on. there is nothing in the logs to say that there is anything wrong. I rebooted the server yesterday morning and the light went out but I just noiced that its back on. The server is running exchange 5.5 and I am getting very worried about this.

I take it you don't have a motherboard handbook to tell you what the ! l.e.d. is supposed to indicate. Can you trace the l.e.d. wires back to the motherboard and check if there is any legend screen printed on the board against this connection?

You would have to run a server monitor program to find out. Did Gateway supply a cd with a management suite on it?
