Does anyone know the actual pixel differences between Netscape and IE regarding the use of Margins in IE.

For example, margins set to zero on IE, how many pixels is it top and right?

Also, there seems to be a pixel difference between the 2 browsers vertically without even messing with the margins, do you know what that dimension is?

Thanks. Mike Barone

Unless my eyes deceive me here is your answer!

Without setting margins:

Netscape starts:

7px v (from left edge)
9px h (from the top edge)

IE starts:

15px v (from the left edge)
10px h (from the top edge)

With pixels set to zero using css the pixels are actually 0. You can not set a negative value to the margin. Try it, set them to 0, view the page then set them to a negative value, they do not move.

Difference between the two browsers.

Netscape is -8 px from IE Horizontal and -1 px Vertically.

Thanks for the question, it will make me think twice about skipping setting margins!
