To All,
Am recreating a cover for a hand out but when I go to print it in Corel it cuts the bottom of the border off. How can I change it to fit the page the way I want it? Is there a way to fool the printer as far as margins go or am I missing something in the setup of Corel as far as margins go. I want the margins to be 3/8in all the way around. I am printing it out to a HP Deskjet 1220c.
Thanks in Advance.
Terry

I am not familiar with that particular model of printer, but many of the HP line print margins don't go to 3/8" on all 4 sides.

Under the "View" menu, depending on your version there is a Show-> Printable Area (v.11) that shows which portion of the page will be printed. It is possible that part of your image is outside of the printers margins.

Also, if you have more than one printer, be sure that the proper printer is selected under File-> Printer Setup.

See if that doesn't get you on the right track. If you still have problems, let us know.

Attrofy is correct. I have the same printer. When I need a bleed to print or a border like your project I will usually just put a larger size paper like 11 x 17 or bigger (since that printer takes up to 13 x 19 paper size). Then you can get the entire page images. Just use crop marks and then cut your paper to the size you need.
