If I map users home drive using login script under AD properties Login Script and
Connect to Drive Letter \\Server\folder\%UserName%

What takes precedence?

What takes precedence for what? You haven't asked a question...or at least one that I (we?) understand.

Let's say if I map users home drive using login script
under AD properties Login Script
to \\server1\folder\username
and I have also configured users home folde with same drive letter as above but to different server.
Connect to Drive Letter \\Server\folder\%UserName%

what server user will map to server1 or server?

Sorry...so you're mapping a drive via a script. How are you then mapping the home folder?

are you meaning your mapping the same path? same drive letters?
Yes

Sorry...so you're mapping a drive via a script. How are you then mapping the home folder?
In Script named script.bat it says
Net use H: \\server\folder\%username%
This script is configured under AD users Properties\ Profile Tab\ Logon Script=script.bat
and
Home Folder under AD users Properties\ Profile Tab\
connect H: \\server\folder\%username%

Ok, you shouldn't be running a script to map a drive that you're already mapping through AD.

Yes, Davetoo I agree with what you said. But, it's set up the way I explained in which will take precedence Script or HomeFOlder mapping?

Since they're both pointing to the same place, it's not a relevant question.

My point is you shouldn't be doing it to begin with. Your script should be checking to see if the drive is already mapped so that it doesn't try to map it again. It's bad practice not to check, or to disconnect it first before connecting it via script.

If your intent is to override one with the other, again..bad practice. If you wish to map drives using the script, then do that. If you wish to map a home folder using AD, then do that. Don't do both (at least using the same drive letter).

what it both were mapping to different server same drive letter, who wins?

I agree with you that it is not right not do and I am going to remove it from the script but I just want to know who takes precedence?

Honestly I can't answer that...I was more concerned with the bad practice aspect of it.

So...what you should do is try it, see what happens, and let us know.

the grouppolicy settings assigned to the ou will be the one in place.

Hi Everyone,
I tried mapping home drive using script and AD. I found out that home folder configured using AD wins.

Thank you for letting us know.

Now...go fix it so that a script doesnt't try to map to an existing drive letter! ;-)
