Hi all,

So not quite a tech guy but an end user of Micros 3700. I am used to 9700 where I can simply change lines within the various Tracking groups which apparently can't be done in 3700.

I have created new tracking groups for both system and employee with the information changes I would like to see however how do map the system so that it knows to use the new tracking report number I've just created?

In my search I thought I saw something where I would change this in the "historical" data section of reporting in configurator module but I wanted to dbl check before I did this.

thanks in advance

Hey.

You have to go in to DBISQL, and change the tracking group in use value to 'F'. Eg:

update micros.trk_grp_def
set ob_grp_in_use = ‘F’
where trk_grp_seq = 1

This enables the DB Navigator in Tracking Groups for you to add new ones or change the existing ones.

You then have to use Crystal Reports to track these totals to the reports.

Unless you are familiar with SQL and Crystal, I do not recommend doing this
