We are looking for mapping software with the following features:

Allow API calls from VFP6.0 Programs
Return information (Route, times, etc..) to the calling program

If you can recommend anything it would be appreciated.

Hi Ron,

If by Allow API calls from VFP6.0 Programs, you are asking for documentation on how to interface with the Windows API from VFP, re-read the posts from: thread184-70271

If by Return information (Route, times, etc..) to the calling program you are asking for a performance monitor/tracking utility to determine bottlenecks, execution times, etc...Read about the Coverage Profiler in Chapter 32 of the VFP Programmer's Guide. Jon Hawkins

Hi
Microsoft Map softwarte expose it self as COM object so you can manipulate it programmatically from your code and return all its search results (Route, times, etc..) to your calling program. The only disadvantage of this product is it works very well for the North America only (at least till now).
Advantage, royalty free, MSDN support, etc…
Also there are a lot of Mapping COM objects in the market if you willing to bay, but integration with VFP is not transparent.
Thanks

Of course. Sometimes it's difficult to be sure another is getting the subcurrents of your messges, particularly if English isn't your mother tongue. I suppose I shouldn't try joking around, especially with puns and the like, in such circumstances, but sometimes I can't resist. --Dave
