I had a client on server A today that I needed to reload. I brought it back to my office and reloaded the client. I installed W2K and Novell Client 4.81. When finished I took the server to its original location, logged in with the user from server B (the original user) and of course made sure I was on the proper server with proper context. I was still mapping to the Server A where I did the installation. I disconnected the drives and did a windows map to the appropriate directory and connected fine and said to reconnect at login. When I rebooted, I was mapped back to the server where I did the installation. I am baffled why the login script doesn't seem to be mapping the drives. It worked fine before I took the client back to my office and used my login. Its like it won't forget I signed on. Please advise.

Are you using profiles stored locally on the PC? If so, try removing the profile and trying then.

Also, ensure that there is no server specified in the Novell Client / Advanced / Server section. -----------------------------------------------------

Hi,

try to search in registry using regedit.

HKEY_USERS\xxxxxx\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Network\Persistent Connections

Check if everthing is ok there! Delete unwanted mappings from there!

I don't see that is a NetWare configuration problem (as long as they are in the same tree).
