Hi all, just got a quick question. I have just setup a snapgear vpn router on a windows network. I now need to be able to map network drives over the vpn (by a script would be good) however i cannot connect to the remote server as the ip address conflicts with the one of my server on the internal network here in my office. Is there someway of fixing this? also how can i stop the vpn from using the internet bandwidth at the host end of the connection, in other words, i am connecting to a clients network and do not want to be running up big bills for the internet usage.
Any help would be much appreciated

Your network and the client network should be separate subnets. You would no longer have the routing issue, and it would assist with your second issue. There will always be some traffic going over the VPN when you are connected, but if the traffic is routed, there will be less traffic. The other option is to disconnect the VPN when not in use.
