I have set up a Webdav shared folder on my Web server (hosted by my ISP). I can access files in this using Internet Explorer but only in so far as it will open a copy locally or save it to my local client.

Attempting to map a network drive (with NET USE Z: url) results in error 67. Attempting to connect to a file (an Access database) via a Get External Data - Link in Access results in an error Not a Valid File Name

My question is - do I need to have the Distributed File System service running on my web server for this to work or is there some other problem.

Mike
