Hi to all,

I am a new AIX system administrator.
I need to know which commands to insert to see a list of the mapping for the physical disks to file systems. In other words I need to know on which physical volume the file systems are mounted.

Thanks in advance,
Maxy

Well, you would actually have to map the logical volumes. Run a "lspv -l [hdiskx]" where x is a number of a hdisk. It will show you what logical volumes and filesystems are on a hdisk.

Run a "lspv -p [hdiskx]" to get a breakdown of what is where on any hdisk.

Bill.
