Does anyone know the situation regarding mapping networked drives over a VPN link to transfer files?

MS PC's each end linked by BT ADSL VPN terminates on PIX firewall at each end. VPN link is up and running with connectivity.
Mapping a drive from one machine to another on the remote side is not providing successful file transfers overnight.

Advice, help please.

Make sure the LANs on each end are on a different network. Example A end is 192.168.5.0 and Z end is 192.168.10.0.
Also when you map a drive if you are not running a WINS server or DNS server or Using LMHOSTS file to resolve Names you will need to specify the IP address in the UNC Example:
NET USE G: //192.168.10.11/Shared Folder.
