Hi All,

I have a server running Windows 2003 and a backup server running Windows 2003. I have DFS enabled for four networked drives.

I map to the drives as follows:
\\TQI.Data.com\TQI_DB\DB
\\TQI.Data.com\TQI_Apps\Apps
\\TQI.Data.com\TQE_DB\DB
\\TQI.Data.com\Website_DB\Website

The TQI_Apps one and the Website_DB is on the backup server where as the TQI_DB and TQE_DB are on the main server.

I can connect to the Website_DB just fine using that as the source in the mapped drive prompt on my computer running Windows XP. However, for the TQI_Apps\Apps when I try to use it in the source for the mapped drives it comes up with this error

Code:
The mapped network drive could not be create because the following error has occurred:

Configuration information could not be read from the domain controller, either because the machine is unavailable, or access has been denied.

I can however map it using the servers ip \\10.222.0.52\TQI_Apps\Apps

Any ideas?
