I have a HR Regional Director who jumps from location to location. She has a laptop joined to the Corporate domain and running XP Pro. She has 3 mapped drives hitting different domains:
E: goes to Corporate Domain
Y: goes to Domain site A
Z: goes to Domain site B(our location)
Mapped drives Y & Z are using IP addresses to point to the server versus DNS. I have the user logins pointing to use the proper domain for the login and password. All drives mapped successfully with persistent:yes. Domains on E,Y, & Z trusted.
She goes to a different location and returns back to my office. Mapped drives Y & Z do not reconnect. I have to re-create the mapped drives to access. What could be causing the lockouts in the mapped drive settings? What would be the solution?
Thanks.
