How do I get a mapped drive to reconnect at logon on a WinXP Pro machine? I checked the box that says <reconnect at logon> when I mapped the drive but it does not reconnect.

Net use /Persistent:yes is the default for XP.

I suspect you are unhappy with Red &quot;X&quot;'s.

Read the last paragraph of FAQ: faq779-4017 and make the Group Policy change suggested there.
