Hello
I have a terminal server user that needs a mapped drive to a share we have setup on our as400. The users credentials between Windows and the as400 do NOT match.
So, I go in and map this drive for her by selecting the drive letter, setting the path (\\x.x.x.x\user), select "reconnect at logon," and select "different user name" - put in the info and the drive maps just fine.
Now, when the user logs off at night and back on in the morning, the drive is is disconnected. I can still see the map is there, but when we attempt to open it we get a windows error box:
---------------
Windows
An error occurred while reconnecting K: to \\x.x.x.x\user
Microsoft windows network 221: The user name could not be found.
This connection has not been restored.
--------------
So, each morning I have to remap this drive. Very annoying. Currently, I've got a bat file that maps the drive for her each time, but it's a text file that has her username/pwd in there. It works, but it's not safe.
Anyone got any idea what this might be??
Thanks for any help!
