Hi, there:

Every time I log into the Citrix server (MetaFrame1.8), my local C drive is mapped to letter U. I have disconnected it several times, but when I log back in again, the mapped drive is still there. I am confused. Is there some kind of login script determing this? Where do I look for? How do I change this?

Thanks for help!

This will typically happen if the MetaFrame servers drives were not remapped to M: and N: upon installation. MetaFrame will alter the client drive letters in order to avoid confusion between server and client C: drives.

I always recommend remapping the MetaFrame server drive letters!

Hope this helps.

CitrixEngineer is right, it is always best to remap the server drives. We have, however, run into a problem where the "re-mapping" of the client drives gets committed to the user's roaming profile and then the client remap stays after the Citrix session is closed.
