how I can prevent one of my PC's from continually crashing and coming up with the MAPISP32 not responding error.  i have reinstalled office 3 times (on of those was a complete uninstall then reinstall)  i have updated all the nic and protocols
any ideas?

once i kill it, everything works fine....please help me, this lady will not stop calling me about her issues every 2 seconds.....

I have come across this problem relating to Microsoft fax services being installed, if this is relevent make sure any fax .spl files are deleted. Otherwise a little more detail would help, what programs are running, attempting to exit, etc

this will happen even if it is only explorer and outlook programs

Well, that's still not a lot of information. Is your lady using Dial-up, or Exchange, or what?

Mapisp32 is the MAPI client (Mail(Messaging?) Application Program Interface), and runs as part of Outlook, to transfer emails between Outlook and the mail server. SOmething is causing it to stop.

Since you refer to a NIC (Network Interface Card), I assume the machine is on a LAN. Remember that 90% of network problems come down to bad cabling. Check patch cords, plugs and Cat5 wiring, would be my advice.

i know what mapisp32 does......hehe...it gives me headaches.... ;) i have done that.....im leaning towards the possible conflict with ms fax...i read that somewhere...you reccomend this?
