Does anyone know of any interoperability issues with using Eudora's MAPI dll's and Procomm's mapisend script?

Reason I am asking is that i have a script that has been working for a while, that emails the results of a cat command on a unix box at night via Outlook Express.

I installed Eudora Mail yesterday, and now I get a MAPI failure in the script. So I uninstalled Eudora, and restored to the day before Restore point, and Nada.

Is there a way that I can debug the Mapisend results in Procomm coming back from the MAPI32.DLL?

Thanks, Jeff

Jeff, you may need to tweak the parameters that you use in the mapisend command slightly if you move between Outlook Express and Eudora. For Outlook, the username in the mapisend call is the profile in Outlook. I have never used Eudora myself, so I can't offer anything further there. What version are you using and is it a freeware version or not?

One other thing to try is copying some text in the Procomm window, then selecting Copy to MAPI Mail and see which mail application is opened. I assume there is a way to tell Windows to use Eudora over Outlook for MAPI, but I do not know how to set that.
