I was trying to do the subst M: \\.\backofficestorage and it gave me the following error.

"path not found - \backofficestorage"

I was doing this from the SharePoint server.

The reason I need this is their are a few files in the Document Library that were deleted off the SharePoint server and our File server.

I'm using Shadow Copy so I thought that is I Maped M: I could restore the file to my file server then re upload it. That way I did not have to go to tape then restore SharePoint.

Thanks

Doug

the M drive is a "virtual" driveletter to your exchange storage. (you might want to look at it as it shows a explorerlike view of your exchangestore-database)
so the M-drive can never be used with shadow copy.

if the file was deleted out of your DocLib the only way to get it back is through a restore. sadly enough

I had to restore from tape :( I just wished the other way would of worked it would of saved so much time.

Thanks
