No, as a lot of programs notify if an email is being sent via MAPI, which makes your program look messy and unprofessional.

P.S. I recommend Winsock.

MAPI is good if the user has Outlook. Any other email client and MAPI does not work well. The display messages are from outlook and can be turned off. (see faq222-179 and faq222-3395).

Another option is CDONTS. Search for it in this forum for more information.

Winsock is a communication control but is not specifically designed for email.

Thanks and Good Luck!

Have you tried JMail?
I prefer it to MAPI

However, Winsock can be used for email if one connects to 127.0.0.1:25.
Never heard of JMail
What is it?

JMail sound interesting. However it is only free for personal use. Remeber to get the proper licencing if you want to distribute it.

Thanks and Good Luck!
