Map two to the same server location?

I have already put in my files on the server. I am trying to open them from another location, It gives me the message:
file path c:\documents and settings\default\my documents\visual studio projects\name
does not correspond to the URL

http://localhost/folder/name

The two need to map to the same server location. Http: 404 Object not found

You are trying to open a web project, that is not configured as a web site/directory in IIS. Create a virtual directory on the web server that will poin to s physical directory, where your .csproj(or .vbproj) file resides.
