I have installed Windows 2000 and I don't seem to have the 'Map Network Drive' option in the Tools menu in explorer. Also I can't disconnect drives by right clicking as I could in NT4. What have I missed?

Thanks

Go to your Local Area Connection Properties and make sure that you have "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" insatlled.

Badaboom :)

also if you do not have administrative access, then you will not be able to change these settings, you must be a local admin of some sort in order to change drive mappings
