Is there a way to make a network drive appear on a machine without having to have a user logged in.

Ex. I have a NAS box that I want to store my database on, but I do not want to have the user logged into the server. A function similar to SUBST would be great.

What is the database platform? If it's SQL Server, SQL doesn't support hosting databases on network shares / mapped drives / etc.

Write a batch file to map the drive, use Scheduled Tasks to run it when the computer starts up.
