Good morning,

I am trying to map two different drives in two group policies.

One script is called in Default Group Policy and another one is called from Map-Drive GPO

When the second gpo runs, it gives me

The reason I have to GPO is that different user has different shared folder mapped in My-Drive GPO,

Multiple connections to a server or shared by the same user name. are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.

I do use the same user name/password to map drive.

Is there a way to address this problem.

The shared folder is not on a domain computer. and users log in domain computer.

Thank you in advance.

hi,
I don' know if I have well understood yor problem.

If I try to mount 2 share at a same server
with different username

net use x: \\isblack\temp
net use y: \\isblack\c$ /user:isblack\Administrator

the sentence is:

Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user,
using more than one user name, are not allowed.
Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again..

Sayd better,
better "..in the same session.."
rather "..by the same user.."

Sayd in another way,
A server, sharing more than 1 folders,
can accept from a client/session, just one username/password
(explicited or not)

If in the 2 scripts, there are different username/password,
but one server is common, 2nd script fails, GPO or not.

What you can do, in the second script, is to umount
(net use x: /delete) those mappings that refers to the previous server, and mount with another user/pass

I hope to have not confused.

bye
