NetWare 5/5.1 network with a RH8 Samba file server which can be accessed in windows explorer by going to "Network Neighborhood" icon, then choosing the correct workgroup. Works without a hitch.

However, how would/could this box be added to a NetWare login script so that it is mapped to a drive letter?

Something like:
"If member of group then begin
map root M:=SERVER\SYS:FILES
end"

Where "SERVER" is the Novell Server and "\SYS" is one of the volumes on that server and "FILES" is the name of the shared directory on the Samba Server.

Any ideas?

Hi.
I'm a bit confused by your example, but I think you're looking for this:

if member of group then
#net use m: \\servername\sharename
end

Hope that helps

I guess with Server you don´t mean the Novellserver, but the Samba ? Right?
