map drive errror

we have windows 2000 server and sometimes the map drive deseapear with few user someone have an idea

When does the mapped drives disapear? After logoff, restart? Do you have roaming profiles on those machines? What about NetBios name resolution?

Give us more information so we can better diagnose a potential problem.

This happens on winXP pro. The drive mapping does not complete when the pc is booted or rebooted. That is, it does not complete in 1 out of 3 time. Sometimes, it's only 1 or two drives that don't map. The environement is Win2000 with AD.

Are you using networked login scripts or are you mapping the drives locally?
