Proper steps to adding a port to the Map-D Card. Do you have to reset for it to work?

You should not have to reset the MAP-D.

Add the ASAI station to the Definity.
Define the IP address of the new endpoint in the MAP-D.
Add the port/link information to the MAP-D.
Status the new link.
