Happy New Year! I have two computers on a network in my home and am wondering how to map a network drive on one computer for a folder on the other computer so I can share files. I have Windows XP on one computer and Windows Vista on the other. Can anyone tell me how to do this or point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

Jesse

Right click the folder, sharing, share it on the network. Let's say that the XP machine's name is Yo, and the folder you want to share is "bam". Then on the Vista machine...
go to run and type
\\Yo
and the folder will be there. This will work the same either machine (Vista too). That's the easiest way to do it. Otherwise, you can open Windows Explorer (My Computer) and the map a network drive option is at the top (XP).

Thanks again,
